Thumbnail of publication coverBuilding a Sustainable Future: Analysis of the Fiscal Resources Supporting Children from Birth through Age 8 in Michigan. With funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, The  Finance Project conducted a fiscal mapping study in Michigan to analyze the fiscal resources supporting children birth through age eight and their families.  The study created a fiscal map of federal, state, and private expenditures on programs and services for children in this age group across six goal areas.  The report analyzes and makes recommendations regarding the effectiveness of funding, the diversification and adequacy of existing funding, the stability and flexibility of available programs and funding sources, and the coordination of funding from multiple public and private sources. Thumbnail of publication coverFinancing Evidence-Based Home Visiting Programs in Michigan: A Strategic Financial Planning Toolkit. With funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, The Finance Project also developed a strategic financial planning toolkit for statewide home visiting that provides state policy makers with a detailed set of decision points, strategies, and worksheets to guide new investments in a coordinated statewide system of evidence-based home visiting services.
